Congratulations this month to past champion Jeff Austreng on winning his second championship this year. Jeff defeated SS Dennis Hansen this week at Town and Country Lanes in a close final match 255 to 244 taking home the Trophy, the first place prize of $1000.00 and gaining 10 points in the BOTY standings. Jeff qualified 2nd averaging 248 in his first 6 games. Jeff made the 4 6 7 while Dennis gave Jeff back to back opens. Go figure!
Congratulations also goes out to runner up SS Dennis Hansen on winning the second place prize of $500.00. Dennis qualified in 14th with an average of 226 for his first 6 games. Dennis will receive 8 points for his BOTY Standings.
This month's tournament was held at Town and County Lanes. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend
This month's tournament average was 216.
High Qualifier was Ken Wyatt with 1491 total pin fall with an average of 249 after his first 6 games.
We had 59 bowlers in attendance this month. There were 7 SSS and 23 SS rest of our seniors.
It took a total of 1355 and an average of 226 or better to make our regular cut line set by Dennis Hansen SS.
We also had 21 bowlers in our Elimination Rounds. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.
There was one 299 game by our winner Jeff Austreng in game 3 of qualifications.
