SSO Summit Lanes Singles
The SSO would like to congratulate SSS Rick Parschen on winning his 2nd SSO Championship Title by defeating Dale Hoffmeister in the final match 232 to 172. Parschen qualified in 44th with 1184 and an average of 197. Rick picked up the first place trophy, $1000.00 check and 10 points towards his BOTY standings.
We’d also like to congratulate past champion winner Dale Hoffmeister on his second place finish, picking up $500.00 and obtaining 8 points towards his BOTY standings. Dale qualified in 2nd with 1416 total pins with a 236 average going into the Elimination Rounds.
This is a good example how effective our Survival Eliminations (Rule 7) can be towards helping our SSS’s compete against our regular Seniors and step up to win the tournament. So the lesson here is “your never to old to win an SSO Tournament”.
This month’s tournament was held at Summit Lanes. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend.
This month’s tournament average was 193.
We had 90 bowlers in attendance, 10 bowlers short of making 4 tournaments in a row with 100 or over attendance. There were 7 SSS, 30 SS and 4 Females with the rest of our seniors.
It took a total of 1235 and an average of 206 or better to make our regular cut line set by Glen Pilon – SS.
We also had 32 bowlers in our Elimination Rounds, 2 out of 4 women, two SSS made the cut. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.
There were no honor scores this weekend.
We are proud to have as our major sponsor

The SSO would also like to thank our staff and our sponsors; Ebonite Bowling Products, Red Robin, Beyond Boarders, Turbo 2 in 1 Grips, Hamtramck Singles Classic, A.M.
