The SSO would like to congratulate Dennis Johnson and his partner Todd Stuart on winning this months JAX 60 O/U 50 Doubles by defeating HOF'r and past champion Brad Gray and his partner A.J. RICE, 465 to 460 in this close final match this weekend. Dennis and Todd will take home $5000.00 the trophies and Dennis will receive 10 points towards his BOTY total. Team Johnson qualified 27th with 2653 and a 221 average.
The SSO would also like to congratulate the team of Brad Gray and A.J. Rice for their 2nd place finish and for winning the team prize of $3000.00. Brad will increase his BOTY standings by 8 points. Brad and A.J. qualified with a total combined pin fall of 2764 and a combined average of 230.
This month's tournament was held at JAX 64 Lanes. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend.
High Qualifier Team was Dino Castillo and Michael Martell with a total combined pin fall of 2862 and a combined average of 239.
We had 104 Teams in attendance this month.
It took a total of 2638 and an average of 220 or better to make our regular cut line set by Eric Tulley and Michael Jachcinski.
We also had 30 teams in our Elimination Rounds. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.
